If a child has access to a personal laptop, they have the ability to access the internet for information. This is very useful if the child is doing his/her homework and has a question.

With computers (including laptops) there are many ways to communicate ideas, whether its for business planning or notifying someone that a transaction has occurred with their account. Students can use this their advantage with a laptop using online platforms like Discord or applications like Skype, by using them to talk to other group members in group projects.

Creativity

With laptops, kids are able to use different software’s for anything. For example, if a student wanted to make a video for a class project, owning a laptop would make it a lot easier because of the easy to use programs that are at the tips of their fingers. Students are also able to make codes as a start to their coding hobby/career.
